ANN ARBOR, MI – In November 2008, the Holy Land Foundation, a supposed Muslim “charity,” and five of its former organizers, were found guilty by a federal jury of illegally funneling more than $12 million to the Palestine terrorist group, Hamas.
One of the documents introduced into evidence at that trial explicitly expressed their goal to dominate America from within:
“The Muslim Brotherhood must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.” Mohamed Akram, “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America,” May 22, 1991
They are well on their way of achieving their “grand jihad” in America. These terrorist training compounds are just one example of what radical Muslims are doing in the United States.
According to former FBI agent John Guandolo, who worked several years in the Bureau’s Counter Terrorism Division, every major Muslim organization is controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood. He said that federal leadership is reluctant to take action due to political correctness.
Radical Muslims have already infiltrated the highest levels of our government, our military, both major political parties, public schools, universities, financial institutions, and the culture elite.
Radical Islam is the Enemy Within
- A recently released U.S. government report entitled “2008 Interagency Intelligence Committee on Terrorism” concluded that Hezbollah, the Iranian and Lebanese backed Islamic terror group, has been forming sleeper cells throughout the United States. This is the same group that, in 1983, bombed the Marine barracks in Beirut and killed 241 U.S. Marines.
- A 2007 intelligence report by the NYPD highlighted the homegrown threat of Islamic terrorists. According to the report, “[E]nclaves of ethnic populations that are largely Muslim often serve as ‘ideological sanctuaries’ for the seeds of radical thought.” The report went on to say, “[T]he greater the purity and isolation of these ethnic communities, the more vulnerable they are to be penetrated by extremism – under the guise that it represents a purer, more devout form of Islam.”
- The Washington-based Center for Security Policy found that 75% of Mosques randomly surveyed preach anti-Western extremism. Frank Gaffney, a former Pentagon official who runs the Center, confirmed to the WorldNet Daily that the vast majority are inciting insurrection and Jihad through sermons by Saudi-trained imams and anti-Western literature, textbooks, and videos.
We can’t leave the job of defending America to the politicians in Washington.
Critical Lawsuits

Anti-terrorist Decals
TMLC represents Jesse Nieto, a civilian employee working at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He has been prohibited from displaying anti-terrorist decals on his vehicle. The decals contain messages such as: “Remember the USS Cole, 12 Oct 2000,” “No Quarter Islamic Terrorist,” and “We Died, They Rejoiced.”
Stifling Free Speech
TMLC is defending Joe Kaufman, Chairman of Americans Against Hate, who was sued by seven Islamic groups in a Texas State Court because he wrote about the Islamic Circle of North America (“ICNA”) ties to the funding of the terrorist group Hamas.
“In God We Trust” and American Historical Phrases Banned
TMLC has filed a lawsuit against a California School District that ordered a teacher to remove several banners from his classroom that contained historical slogans such as “In God We Trust,” “One Nation under God,” and the preamble to the Declaration of Independence because they would make Muslims uncomfortable.
LtCol Chessani and the Haditha Marines
TMLC is defending Marine LtCol Jeffrey Chessani, who is charged with orders violations relating to the falsely characterized “Haditha Massacre.”
