History
Founded in 1999,the Thomas More Law Center was established by prominent businessman Tom Monaghan and former Oakland County, Michigan prosecutor Richard Thompson—distinguished for his role in the prosecution of Jack Kevorkian. The Law Center is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The Thomas More Law Center seeks to transform the national culture by taking cases across the United States consistent with its mission. The Law Center currently is handling over 100 legal matters in 27 different states.
During the past several years, the Law Center has established itself as one of the nation’s leading public interest law firms. Attorneys with the Law Center have appeared regularly on national radio and television programs including: the FOX News Channel 's O’Reilly Factor, Hannity and Colmes, FOX & Friends; MSNBC's Live with Dan Abrams; the Dr. Laura Show; the Radio Factor; and hundreds of Christian radio networks. The Law Center's attorneys and cases have appeared in: the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Jerusalem Post, the Washington Times, the National Law Journal, National Review, World Net Daily, the Detroit Free Press, and many other notable publications.
