Make a Difference!

We are looking for a full-time appellate/litigation lawyer committed to a higher purpose who has significant experience in the federal trial and appellate courts.  Applicants must be fully committed to TMLC’s mission to maintain a strong and free America, and to restore and preserve our Nation’s Judeo-Christian heritage and moral values, which include the religious freedom of Christians, time-honored family values, and the sanctity of human life.

 Position requirements:

  • Fully committed to the philosophy and mission of the Thomas More Law Center as described above
  • Significant federal court litigation and/or appellate experience
  • Willingness to work long hours
  • Ready to tackle interesting and complex constitutional issues
  • Excellent brief writing and oral argument skills
  • Relocation to the Ann Arbor, Michigan area
  • Willingness to travel to courts throughout the United States

Hiring Preferences:

  • Federal judicial clerkship
  • Federal trial and appellate experience
  • Knowledge of First Amendment law
