Return To Tradition,” But…

December 14, 2007 by developer

What started out as an interesting title and article in US News and World Report turned into another liberal hack piece.  Read it here, but don’t be deceived by the first paragraph or two.

When it starts talking about how this return to traditionalism "without troubling authority figures" and "highly politicised religious positions (like gay marriage and abortion)"… . You know this author can’t help himself but to attack the very premise he is writing the article on.  Then he dusts off some relic Jesuit priest from Georgetown to say the religious orders that wear habits again are fine, but "if the church ordained women, we’d have thousands more coming forward."  REALLY.

The fruits of John Paul the Great are on the tree.  For the Catholic Church, that is a large part of the return to orthodoxy.  For other denominations it is the rejection of the liberalization of their faiths that do not and cannot bring them closer to God.
