Here we go again with Michael Newdow. Remember the Supreme Court reversed the 9th Circuit a while back on this case, but on “standing” not on the merits. The 9th Circuit ruled that Newdow was correct and “Under God” had to go. Now Newdow has tried to make sure he has standing. He is sueing again and lost in the federal district court and now appealled to the 9th Circuit. The same 3 judge panel hearing this case will also hear his case trying to get rid of our National Motto “In God We Trust.”
The 9th Circuit will probably rule in Newdow’s favor so the Supreme Court will have to make a ruling on the merits this time.
